Yep, great start that she managed to close poorly. Thought maybe she would make the turn and keep it going. Not. They'll be some good scores once the afternoon group gets started. Alice will probably end up around 25th. Disappointing after such a stellar front 9 (back 9 on course).

on Holes 3 & 4 . . . . Alice responded well with back to back birdies on Holes 5 & 6 . . . the Double Bogey on 8 was the dagger to this Round.

Alice is in good shape for the week . . . She will be ok 👌🏻. . . I’ve a good feeling for her going forward!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I will gladly eat a mouthful of crow for my post above. I'm pleasantly shocked there wasn't a dozen -5 or -6's in the afternoon. My stomach churned when I saw that double bogey post on the scores.

Really pleased that she's just one shot from being t6.

Congratulations to Alexandra Swayne. But also to Savannah Grewal. Look at her go. I had no idea she was trying to qualify. She's in first place and her scores are off the charts first 3 rounds... I'm trying to get more information. Just posted today's round. Shefinished t1.
