I met "Uncle Ivan" at a show once. Took me aback how nice he was. I guess in the back of my mind, he was still the "bad guy Russian". lol!!!

If that is Black Jack Mulligan...I always thought he was just a nasty looking cuss.

Ivan Koloff used to bleed just as much as Dusty Rhodes.

I would love to see Nikita Koloff in his prime ..
.. taking on Bill Goldberg in his prime.... during a cage match. That would have been epic.

short while the well known Rufus R. "Freight Train" Jones, a black wrassler of that era, had a much lesser known black "cousin". His name? "Burr Head" Jones. I say he was around for a very short while, because in one of his first and last matches, Blackjack Mulligan 'bout killed him in the ring. You can say that chit ain't real, but I guarantee that kid felt it for days, if not weeks.

Yep, I remember them all, and I didn't start watching until around 1980.

I always used to put my son, nephews and there friends in the Claw Hold and grab my wrist with the other hand like he did. They loved it. Unless the Claw got too tight. Lol
