Whatever happened to Hurricane Duane?

He used to play song re-written with Clemson themes at the Tiger Tailgate Show. I think he used to post on here a good bit too.

I met him at the Spartanburg Wild Wings the day of the 2009 Maryland game. Got a free CD of Clemson songs from him that day too.

I play "I Hate Florida State" the day of the FSU game.

Thanks, man! I'd like to mention that during part of my 15 years on the show, Howard Hudson also did some "Tiger themed music." His music was designed to be corny and, as was said above, sometimes even 'cringy'. He was a very talented comedian, but not so much of a singer. Many people thought that that was me, because we did a pretty lousy job of making a distinction.

I may have had a couple 'funny' songs, but mostly I just covered songs that I like and most of the time, found a way to put "Go Tigers" or something in the track. I recorded all of my own tracks and during my 15 years, recorded over 80 different songs from scratch. I also did a couple of originals like "0 & 11" and "The Should', Coulda' Woulda' Song, AKA "Beat the Shoulda' Outta USC".

I was unceremoniously "let go" just before the 2010 Season. The new president of the network and I didn't see eye to eye on several issues and that was that. He asked me to take about a 90% pay cut, and I said 'no thanks.' That gave them the liberty to say that I had quit, but I did not. That's the truth.
