Except Brownell has accomplished way way way more for Clemson basketball than Bowden did for Clemson football.

Bowden took over a program that went 3-8 the year before and at least turned us into a program that was consistently putting out winning records. He also brought our all-time greatest coach to Clemson and set the stage for us winning 2 NC's and multiple conference titles by doing so.
Brownell took over a program that had made the NCAA tournament 3 years in a row and has managed to get us to a total of 3 additional tournaments in 12 years.

You do realize Bowden was instrumental in the very beginning in getting our facilities up to par. Bowden brought in Dabo and then recommended him for the HC job.
Brownell pales by a long shot if you want to talk about the diffrences in what they have done for the university.
As far as x's and o's they were/are both average coaches.

This actually makes Brownell look worse. Because once again, it proves how radically inconsistent we are. And inconsistency especially when it’s this radical is 100% because of poor coaching! Brownell even started after the Louisville game that He is arguing with the players and they’re not listening to his coaching on the court. That means he doesn’t exactly have control of the team.
