If the refs can stop the game and check video review to add an uncalled targeting penalty, shouldn't the league be able to look at this footage and sit that kid for the first half of the next game? Only seems fair.

That's a sneaky dirty hit. He kept his head upright (so it wouldn't appear as spearing), but bent his knees and came up into the jaw of the receiver with the crown of his helmet. Really dirty, but he disguised it to a degree.

Everyone of his targeting or potential targeting hits should be sent to the ACC Commisioner and every official in the ACC. Let #0, James Williams, have a target on his back for potential targeting for the rest of his Miami career. He's a sophomore so he has at least one more season. He did get called for a personal foul for a hit out of bounds Saturday.

In this case, the NO CALL so that Shipley can get a concussion and have to sit the game.
THAT’S RIGHT! I SAID IT! They would LOVE for Shipley to get hurt from a targeting that they don’t call.
In this case, since the camera was focused elsewhere, the refs know that they can get away with the NO CALL.
I have said it before. EVERY SINGLE ACC REF SHOULD BE FIRED with NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
ROTTEN TO THE CORE!!
This was a GOOD CATCH and should be reported, but NOTHING, NOTHING will happen.
TRULY PATHETIC!

I think he is the one who stayed on DJ way out of bounds on the td run and then raked the ball out and started running his mouth. Someone somewhere down the line will get his uhhh attention

Yep. That was him. He was also the player who got the late hit call on our sideline. He was talking and taking cheap shots all game. Typical Miami punk.

…regarding actions that can be taken against a conference?
Or is it that a conference has the right to literally do anything it wants to a university relative to athletics?
I’m referring to majority actions by a majority group of universities.
I know it sounds crazy, but we also thought the NIL suit was crazy. Look where that ended up.
These conference officials have no checks or balances or accountability that I have ever heard of, nor seen.
Yet, the coaches are gagged from saying anything lest they are sanctioned and fined into retirement.
This just seems to be pure tyranny at its best.

Oh, just like the TARGETING call is NOT a judgment call?
Again, you see the refs use this PI call OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER to change the outcome of a game, and they can use it with IMPUNITY strictly because it is a NON-REVIEWABLE penalty.
