If movie, tv, and video games caused violence, then Japan...

would be one of the most violent countries in the world. Japanese made movies and video games have lots of violent content (the video game culture is huge in Japan), yet Japan has a very low crime rate.

Are you familiar with Japan's gun laws?
Apr 20, 2013, 9:52 PM

Apparently, they have found a way to control the amount of guns the thugs and citizens can get their paws on. Not saying I agree with it, but some serious, seriously strict gun laws over there, stuff that would make 2nd Amendment people over here shut up real fast about "gun rights" being taken away.

war daily on the news, had cartoon characters blowing each other up, played with lawn darts and bb guns, and the very vast majority of us grew up o.k. oh yeah, we had rock and roll, too. this country is no more, or less, obsessed with violence than any other. people just grow up today with having to blame someone else for their own problems, and rarely, if ever, take responsibility for their own actions.

As a rule, I never get into political or religious discussions with anyone but it is difficult at times like this to wonder why the good ole US of A has this love affair (or fear) of the Muslims! Get rid of all of them.

there are two different types of muslims

there are the Sunni and the Shi'ite. One of my good friends is Sunni and he is a really good person. people need to understand that the shi'ite represent only a small portion of the Muslim community.

There are more subdivisions than Sunni and Shi'ite, and it's a mistake to categorize Muslims based on which of the above two sects they adhere to. Bin Laden was a Sunni, after all; as are almost all Chechnyan Muslims.

a lot of people and it has been well documented that MANY naturalized Muslims in America fund terrorists and other extremists. Just like German families sent money and sons back to Germany to fight for the Nazis.

You are mistaken about your information. The brothers had been in the use for a decade, but have ony been citizens for one year. Below, I've pasted what I copied from an article on Yahoo.
Law enforcement officials and family members have identified them as Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, ethnic Chechen brothers who had lived in Dagestan in southern Russia. They had been in the U.S. for about a decade and lived near Boston, an uncle said. Dzhokhar, for whom police are searching, is a 19-year-old student at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Tamerlan was a 26-year-old boxer. Their motive remains unclear.
