I'll admit it's hard to believe there may be a politician out there that isn't on the take but it's interesting the left seems obsessed with proving just that with this guy instead of debating his political beliefs. They are attacking for other reasons saying they hate America, that they should be locked up, and they are vermin. And that's just scratching the surface. We are just talking about political opponents too.

To be fair, the left isn't attacking him for being Christian. Rather, some random jerkoff falsely attacked him for hypocrisy.
A more general point: It would be best not to fight over what "the left" or "the right" say. People are individuals and responsible only for their own conduct.
