These arguments are hilarious

One guy is a 13 year NFL QB and one is a former LSU DE. Can you guess which is which? I know it’s an old video, but after hearing the LSU fans this week, I can see where Marcus Spears gets it from. The delusion is high in Louisiana.

What do you think are the odds getting him to weigh in a week from Tuesday?

He was on one of the insider multicasts that ESPN did last year. It’ll be fun to watch him there once they become available afterward

opponents (including LSU themselves). That also includes Alabama last year, the greatest college football team of all time. Enough with the "look who LSU played" crap. Joe Burrow is a great QB, and LSU is a great team, but who you've played has ZERO to do with how good YOU are. We ain't skeered, just line up and play.

Delusion? Burrow has outplayed Lawrence in every facet of the game and against much better competition, is about to cap off arguably the greatest single season by a quarterback in college football history, and will very likely be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft this April and you think LSU fans would be delusional to prefer their quarterback over the almighty Lawrence even when he’s outclassed Lawrence across the board all season? LSU fans delusional? Take a look in the mirror.

This time last season, the media was hyping Tua as the greatest QB ever. They were telling everyone that Bama was the greatest team in the history of the game. And all you SEC homers were lapping up that kool-aide because the ego stroking just feels good to you. Then what happened ?
BTW, Clemson played a similar weak A-She-She schedule last year too. I guess you didn’t learn anything from last year, did you ?
You’d be wise to figure out that the ACC has nothing to do with how good Clemson is and the SEC has nothing to do with how good LSU is. Put down the kool-aide. Trust your eyes, not your taste buds.

Hi Matt - let me clarify...

I believe the "delusion" is in response to that guy on the video laughing like a jackazz at the notion that TL is playing the best of any QB in college football. Below I'm going to C&P my response to this back when it happened (note that it does not include the bowl games...since that guy's comment was made before them):
*********************************************************************************** I ran the numbers starting at the second quarter of the Lville game...which many have said is when the light came back on for Trevor. That’s the past 6.75 games...more than enough to say it is “how he is playing now”.
Lawrence: 127 of 170 for 1,862 yards, 23 tds and no interceptions. QBR 211.4
Burrows: 189 of 226 for 2,513 yards, 23 tds and 3 interceptions. QBR 208.0
TL also has been sacked 8 times to Burrows’ 20 and has 248 rushing yards on 48 attempts and 2 TDS vs Burrows’ 184 yards on 61 attempts and 1 TD.
Does that mean TL is playing better than Burrows? Not necessarily. It does, however, mean that guy was being a fool to laugh and walk away at the suggestion. Sit down and have the discussion, jerk. **********************************************************************************
So, there you have it. In that stretch of football, who was playing better QB? Statistically, it is obviously Lawrence. That doesn't end the debate (you could take into consideration competition or "the eye test" for example), but as I said...it just means that you are being (in my opinion) delusional to think the claim is absurd.
Thoughts?
