This place really cheered up and criticism almost disappeared. Our problems are hopefully behind us and that week served as a wake up call to everyone. A sleeping giant arose. Here is hoping the GT game will not be as tough as I think it will be and we can become bowl eligible.
Peace on earth this week besides a few tears about getting thumbed down and losing DSP......again. Well everyone have a great day!!!

Obviously Vegas understands that ga tech isn't that good. Now, they're not uva bad but our strengths play into their weaknesses. Much like last week where we matched very well with ND. Take this to the bank. Definitely take Clemson and the -15.
Ga tech has the worst ranked run defense in the nation.. and they haven't really faced run heavy teams. And their pass defense isn't much better.
Ga Tech is a 2-7, 3-6 team that's been very fortunate to turn a few games and eek out a W because of turnovers. Beat Miami (barely) because Miami turned it over 5 times. We're not turning the ball over 5 times... ain't happening.
41 - 16 (we'll score on almost every possession and ga tech hasn't played a team like our D) T-Net instantly claims Clemson is Back, but it's all about the matchups.

Interesting thoughts and I can see where you are going with this. If Clemson doesn't beat Clemson we should be 8-1 maybe. Hoping you are right and we match up and execute like we should.
Side note Clemgalalways®, what are your thought on our bracket for Women's soccer? Can we win it all? Toughest bracket I believe, but I do not pretend to know

Yes Sir. Confidence. And I think we'll stick with the blocking scheme changes.
As for our ladies. I'm excited, but tempered. What was it, two years ago I think. We were projected to make the final 8 with a good chance at the final 4 and we got upset early. But this team is built differently. A lot more growth, leadership and focus.
We should breeze through our bracket to the 16. But keep an eye on liberty and uga. Either one could make a run. Given we make the 16, I really think we'll see uga or liberty. Since we host, shouldn't be a problem getting to the 8. Obviously tough but with Hallie, love our chances.
Now, and this is true for all teams. With ties, we don't know how teams fare in ot or penalty kick matches. I say that because I have confidence we'll beat uga, liberty, whoever for the 8. Then, I'm thinking we meet Georgetown in the final 8. One loss team that has 7 ties. Georgetown D could give us fits. Getting past the 8 will be like having to get past ND. Not an easy task.
Apologies for writing a book you didn't want. But I'm doing backflips if we make the final 4. If we can, we'll most definitely be facing FSU again. Saying, I think final 4 is our ceiling... but if we can get there, 3rd time's the charm beating fsu. @tigerpaw I hope gives his thoughts.
Go Tigers

excellent writeup!! These ladies should make the Elite 8. Truly, if they keep the offensive pressure going and keep a tight backline, final 4 and beyond is within grasp. Just don't want FSU until the final or they get knocked out. LMAO

Yeah, but review and breakdown their personnel. It's about strengths. I, like our game with Duke, tend to discount first game. Ga tech has a good qb from Texas. They sling it around the yard. Average like 10 yards per pass which is incredible. But he's prone to ints too. I'm looking at that and have confidence in our D to make them one dimensional and bait him into mistakes. He might hit a few with our secondary but make them kick fg like ND.
We have the linebackers to match their quick stuff and not get 10 15 yrd gains. Saying, we can score on them. Don't think they'll score on us. Look at the ole miss game. Surely you don't think ole miss D is good as ours. So no, being 3rd in acc standings doesn't turn my head.
Upsets happen each week but when Vegas points us 15+, and espn gives a team the 80% edge, it's a done deal. Idc if we do turn it over 3 times... as long as it's not 5 tos, win and cover.

Like Clemgal said it was more a matchup deal. We caught a team with a good QB who had no weapons - maybe like looking in the mirror. The encouraging part was being able to shut down what they wanted to do after the first quarter - run the ball. That was great effort. I watched the second half of Ga Tech - UNC and Tech could tell the Heels we’re going to run it and right in this gap and you can’t stop it. That’s scary because they were scheming gaping holes for huge gains. Hopefully Mr Pork Chop and friends can stop it. Then we need another great O Line and RB effort. Nothing will come easy this year.
