…… if all members of the ACC agreed to do what fat orange haired real estate developers from midtown NYC do.
Just dissolve the conference entity and then reappear Monday morning as a new entity.
Every school agrees to quit the ACC on Friday afternoon.
Monday morning every school agrees to form a new conference.
Secure TV contract at market rates.
Problem solved.
Let me know if there’s anything else with which I can help y’all.

A totally naive take that forgets one very important fact. Those who would set

the market for a new TV contract are the same ones who considered the ACC a third rate commodity to begin with, and would still consider us as such. Maybe even less, now that our UNDEFEATED CONFERENCE CHAMPION got snubbed by the Playoffs.
We could easily find ourselves as the conference version of Colin Kaepernick, who opted out of his $18 million dollar contract with the 49ers, only to find himself without a job ANYWHERE in the NFL.

Then all that's left is for FOX and the other schools to CHIP in on FSU $120 Mil. "RUMOR" is, FOX wants it to happen. What the EFF can ACC/ESPN do. The ACC has been ALLOWING ESPN to DEvalue the product on air for a decade now ???

ACC blew it staying w ESPN. With Fox they coukd have created competition w ESPN. The hold ESPN has over the CFP is very unhealthy

Here is the problem. Nobody wants to watch
Syracuse, BC, Wake Forest play sports.
The only play the ACC had was to kick them out and get 3 big name state institutions. They did not. And now the conference is toast.

You lost me when you made a left winged subtle attack on the best President we have had in many years. You have the freedom to do that but be careful what you say about the sitting President because he will round you up.

I'll never understand why people want to invoke politics in this

It destroys you point to begin with. And your point is pointless. Yes if all members want to dissolve the confrence, yes it will dissolve. But all members DON'T want the confrence to dissolve. Good luck getting Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, and new members Cal, Stanford and SMU all to vote to dissolve the confrence.

I introduced the concept of opening and closing entities as a commercial strategy.
I did not introduce politics, maybe you’re a little thin skinned if u get upset when I bring up a real estate developer that opens and closes entities in a short term manner for commercial purposes.
Sorry if I offended you by noting that your real estate developer boy is fat and orange.
