These of chNces to blow games open last like GA and Ohio State and the we also give those two fumbled punts and 4 other turnovers to South Carolina. Got to stop the silly mistakes

i'm certainly not an expert,and boyd never should have thrown on that play,but the more I've watched,the more I think the interception could have been hopper's mistake in route running.boyd throwing to a spot,and hopper making the wrong cut.

Tajh wasn't suppose to throw the ball....no matter what. That play is on Tajh, although no player should ever half ### anything.

for the play. Should have been lined up in a tight formation for that 3rd down and just let Tajh or Hot Rod run up the middle, then punted.

Could have destroyed teams. Here we are up 20-9 with a 275 yard difference in yardage with 6 mins let in the half and we could have easily been up 28-7 at this point but I think we were down 22-20 at the half. We just don't put good teams away really in any sport. Thinking about all the circus endings to basketball games this year as well

I disagree. I feel like Boyd could throw a good deep ball, but the majority of his success was based on the players around him, and the system he played in. Boyd made far too many bone headed decisions.

Geez Louise. How many yards in penalties did Clemson HAVE in this game. I had forgotten about all the penalties. And it seemed like everyone of them hurt.

One thing I just noticed watching the interception by Anthony that sealed the game for us was that if Miller had made a good throw to Philly Brown, he might've had a TD.

agree!! unforced errors and mental mistake cost us the c$$t game last year..IMHO @ the top of the list is that STUPID PASS that was called for Sammy to throw!

150 yards (or thereabouts) in penalties...and while I STILL disagree with that "roughing the passer" call on Shuey late in the game, we had just a bunch of dumb, thoughtless, ridiculous penalties go against us that, in a lot of instances, kept THE Ohio State University on the field.
One more thing: I really enjoyed Matt Millen's NFL career--he was a heckuva player....but if I EVER hear the phrase "Hurtin' Buckaroo" again, I'm gonna buy a paint gun and go lookin' for him....:~)

Agreed on the muffed punts. If either of those possessions ends in points we would win fairly simply. The fact that you give away 2 possessions , turn it back over to a winded defensive unit and eliminate the opportunity to eat clock just kills any good team.
Gave the game away.

made in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. We didn't play a flawless game so what. The coaches made some mistakes, the offense made some mistakes, and the defense made some mistakes. In the end it didn't matter, because the offense made plays after the defense made mistakes, and the defense made plays after the offense made mistakes.
