Now that the 2016 class has wrapped up

here is my prediction (with alternates) for the 2017 class
QB — Hunter Johnson (COMMIT) QB — Chase Brice (COMMIT) RB — Anthony Davis (D'Andre Swift)(Anthony McFarland Jr.) WR — James Robinson WR — Tee Higgins (OrTre Smith) WR — Amari Rodgers (Shi Smith) TE — OL — Noah DeHond (COMMIT) OL — Matt Bockhorst (COMMIT) OL — Blake Vinson (COMMIT) OL — Trey Smith (Andrew Thomas)(Micah Clark)(Isaiah Wilson)(Tony Gray)(Tedarrell Slaton) OL — *Cesar Ruiz (Eric Douglas)(Jonathon MacCollister) DE — Yetur Matos (Malik Herring) DE — Zachary Carter (Jordan Williams) DE — DT — Breyon Gaddy (Eric Crosby)(Corey Bolds)(Fred Hansard) DT — DT — LB — Baylon Spector (COMMIT) LB — Justin Foster (Jaden Hunter) LB — Drew Singleton (Jordan Anthony) CB — Jamyest Williams CB — Deon Jones CB — LeAnthony Williams Jr. CB — Malcolm Askew (William Poole III)(Trajan Bandy)(Deangelo Gibbs) S — Devon Hunter S — Xavier McKinney (Juwan Burgess)(Cyrus Fagan)(Savalas Cann) S — Davondre Robinson (Juwan Burgess) K — P —
*- may not take a 5th oline but if they do it will most likely be an interior guy
Also, a little side note, if this class were held true (which it very well could be since we lead for majority of these guys) it would give us a 306.11 score on 247 sports, which this year would be enough for the #1 class in the nation.

Good list (I'm no expert) and definitely seems to be very likely with maybe some alternates taking the spots. Crazy to look at the kids we are recruiting in the secondary and to realize that no matter what, we'll bring in the best secondary recruiting class ever for Clemson. Looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds. It's also crazy to think that all you need are those QBs and Robinson, Higgins, and Rodgers and you've got a 10-win team for 3 years (with our coaches) haha.
Go Tigers!

Thank you for the positive comment. But yeah the secondary class for next year will be absolutely insane. We are in the lead for several high 4 stars (soon to be 5). It's really probably going to get to the point were we are turning down lower 4 stars for scholarship numbers.

Going to be a great class. We are going to get some studs at WR and DB and already have some hawgs on the OL.
Awesome time to be a Tiger!

And by our success, the Yardbirds will probably

pickup some good in state guys because we have some elite talent that wants in from out of state. I know Robinson, Higgins and Rodgers are the 3 WR's we want... By virtue, the Coots will have good shots at Shi Smith and Ortre Smith. I hope we Davondre Robinson though...
Its a good and bad situation we have... We attract talent from everywhere which is obviously good, but bad that we can't take them all and end up not taking some in state guys for higher ranked out of state guys. Hopefully Ortre Smith can bulk up to be a TE or play S. He is a Clemson legacy but he is definitely not in our top 3 for WR which is crazy considering he is a Rivals 100 and unanimous 4*

Just to show what seniors will be gone, where we already have open scholarships, what juniors will probably leave early, etc.

Some questions for ya.

Just to discuss...
RB — Anthony Davis (D'Andre Swift)(Anthony McFarland Jr.) Why Davis over Swift? Is Davis our top target?
WR — James Robinson WR — Tee Higgins (OrTre Smith) WR — Amari Rodgers (Shi Smith) I think Amari and JJ are locks. What about Jeudy or Nico? I've heard OrTre predicts more as a TE so getting him instead of Tee wouldn't be great.
OL — Trey Smith (Andrew Thomas)(Micah Clark)(Isaiah Wilson)(Tony Gray)(Tedarrell Slaton) OL — *Cesar Ruiz (Eric Douglas)(Jonathon MacCollister) Unless we get a big time center like Ruiz, why would we not be looking for another tackle in this class since all of our 2016 guys are either guards or projects at tackle?
DE — Yetur Matos (Malik Herring) DE — Zachary Carter (Jordan Williams) I'm not as confident about Yetur. I think we will definitely be able to get a top100 kind of DE though. What about Brad Johnson? He is from Pendleton, so that's crazy close to Clemson.
DT — Breyon Gaddy (Eric Crosby)(Corey Bolds)(Fred Hansard) I'd take any of these. It'll be easy next year to nap a single elite DT.
CB — Jamyest Williams CB — Deon Jones CB — LeAnthony Williams Jr. CB — Malcolm Askew (William Poole III)(Trajan Bandy)(Deangelo Gibbs) Crazy amount of talent here, but where are all these CB schollies coming from?
S — Devon Hunter S — Xavier McKinney (Juwan Burgess)(Cyrus Fagan)(Savalas Cann) S — Davondre Robinson (Juwan Burgess) Again, what a group.

I know that is a lot of CBs but I just don't see how you can turn these guys down. All of the 4 listed have stated we lead and all are definitely over sign worthy.

Also I just put AJ as the primary RB just because I feel he will be the easiest to get being that he plays with JJ.

TigerGuy75, how about your top 5 uncommitted recruits? What 5 guys do you want more than any others?
I'm gonna go...
Robinson Foster J. Williams Jones Hunter

It looks like you've got us getting 24 commits minimum. Do we have that many ships to give?

Looks like we will probably have low 20s, but it will fluctuate depending on a variety of factors. We will over sign for a few of these guys, as well.
