Didn't Lou think he had Skippy secured for a similar deal at one point? Is there a trend in the way our friends in Columbia lure old fogey coaches to their program? It seems likely that actual promises might not have been made but the suggestion is coming from somewhere in both instances.

You have to have a sorry program if you make deals like this. This is not how to win or taking care of a program for the long run. This is desperation and being taken advantage of. Four or five good years isn't worth another generation of mediocrity. Then again, that is all the coots know and I suppose they feel they have nothing to lose.
