In our latest episode, we discuss players who we believe will enter the portal following the season. Beaux Collins is a lock to enter the portal, Adam Randall is very likely to enter as well. The third? Don’t be surprised if Shipley enters as well…

for me it is too early to be discussing possible transfers. There is a lot of ball to be played and we don't know how it will fall out.

I’m very confident he goes back out west and probably reunites with DJ. He’s seeing along with everyone else, the immediate results DJ is having by having a change of scenery and fitting into an offensive scheme that is maximizing his potential. I’d be shocked if Beaux decided to stick around for another year to see if this offense will finally be up to speed and if it will help improve his draft stock.

Why would Shipley leave?

I think Mafa would leave before Shipley. Mafa’s carries per game have dropped and it seems like the more Shipley fumbles the more carries he gets. I would be surprised if a couple of the freshman backs jump in the portal.

Valid point. But I think we can all agree that Shipley has been visibly one the most frustrated players this year. I think he at the very least entertains the idea of going to a team whose offense will better accommodate his skill set. I agree with you on the idea of Mafah leaving as well. No chance they both leave, but I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of the two leaves after this season.
