Honestly with me not ever coming around to being a fan of basketball actually until coach Purnell came in and started building a pretty good Clemson BB team after my back injury and needing something to do after FB season, I started watching Clemson BB and that's when I really become a BB fan.

With all the down years under Brownell I come pretty close to giving up BB bc it just wasn't too exciting to me anymore with our Clemson team not playing to many times in the NCAA tournament, and after standing tall with Brownell for about 8 seasons with him getting us nowhere, I was wanting to see him fired with hopes that whoever replaced him would bring the excitement of Clemson BB back, and then out of the blue Brownell has a season like he had last year, it has me excited for our BB team again, and hopefully Brownell will have tons of success that would go a long way to getting me hook as BB fan bc as it stands for me right now with that sport, I can take or leave it bc I'm not completely hook on the sport, but I think that I could be bc it's a big thing with Clemson, just not as big as FB, and I've always loved Clemson FB.

And No, it isn't all about the winning for me, but winning does help to keep a relatively new fan of the sport excited enough to actually get me hooked on the sport bc, before Clemson BB I was never a fan of BB even though when I lived in Phoenix AZ. I did go to a lot of the Sun's games, but that was only bc my boss loved them, and he was always offering me free tickets to go to the games with him, but that wasn't enough to get me hook on Basketball, just saying that it has taken my love for Clemson to draw me into that sport, and that wasn't until my back injury that had me looking for something I could do and enjoy on the weekends besides riding my Harley with all my Harley rider friends and going to as many Bike rally's as I could find to go to, but, after my back injury riding my Harley is limited bc the back pain want allow me to ride any and everywhere like I use to with my Harley friends that I seldom see anymore.

Hopefully with the talent that Brownell has finally started to get for Clemson Basketball, I can get excited about the sport of Basketball again, Go Tigers, Go Brownell....
