All of us 40 or 50+ guys are often talking about how there's no more good rock since the 60s/70s, but I found this playlist on Spotify that is generally really good. It's a lot of music like late 60s and 70s rock that's heavy on distortion and blues influence. Think Jimi Hendrix, some Zep, Stooges, a little Janis Joplin, "Revolution" by the Beatles, and such like that. You probably won't like them all (I don't care too much for Jack White/White Stripes, and they're on the playlist quite a bit) and there is a some 90s alternative/grunge, but all in all, it's a pretty good playlist from the 2000s to today. You can always skip what you don't like!
