Where he stops playing ball control and escaping with a win (which we have seen time and time again. Protecting the ball, grinding and just knowing we will grind out the win with talent) and finally starts letting it loose. Nothing to lose. Aggressive.
I think you see an offense that isn't scared to throw 3 interceptions against FSU because the realization of not having the team to play field position and win has hit. I'm not expecting to go undefeated. I'm expecting to see an extremely aggressive offense going forward.

i'm so tired of Clemson trying to ball control

but they get ball controlled more by the low grade competition
that's how every program has played us. they bleed out the clock and can't score because we have zero momentum
you do this in CFP when the atmosphere is electrying every play . not regular season

Agreed. We never go all out it seems. I think that changes. If not, I don't see an upside.

we've lost as many games the last 2 seasons +1 than we lost the previous SIX SEASONS.
I've been hearing for 2 YEARS "I'm gonna get it fixed" from Dabo, but yet it only GETS WORSE.
hate to break it to you, but this is who we are now. There isn't anything "being held back". The offensive talent just isn't there and tbh the offensive coaching staff is probably worse (sans Riley).
"THE FIX"........ if Dabo's willing to do it can't even begin to be seen until at least next season assuming collateral damage from perception is minimal.......which i'm not sure that it is. He attempts to fix one tire at a time to see if it works, but fails to realize ALL TIRES must be functional to move forward.

Yes, he hasn't been at that point since around 2011. We have beaten many teams we should blow out over the years by grinding and being conservative, knowing our talent would win.
Now, I don't think that's the case and he gets very aggressive to score instead of relying on incredible defenses and ball control. Not sure why that's hard to grasp.

Yes, correct. It does take an sample size to make a change. Great analysis.

It’s hard to win like we did for so long, most teams would give anything to have the season we had the last three.
Let’s be realistic, we aren’t going to have Trevor or Deshaun plus Mike Williams, Hunter Renfrow or Sammy Watkins every year.
We just have to be the best version of Clemson we can be. I’ll be pulling for us to win every game, we will win a lot of ball games.

Dabo's stubborness is preventing Clemson from doing that right now.
Nobody expects a national title every year.

Also, Phoebe, 2 years is not an accurate example of Dabo. Name me a program besides Bama and recently UGA that hasn't had a couple of "bad" 10 win years.

You still lost 2 games in that shortened season or 20%. Clemson lost the exact same percentage last year. Everyone crying because they think they’re entitled to wins are pretending no one good ever loses a game. We lost 3 last year - which is a lot for Clemson of the last decade - but it was to the #5, #18, and #23 team in the country. The only “bad” loss there was the home loss to SC. Notre Dame was on the road. We won 4 games over ranked opponents last season. We made the playoffs twice with losses to actually bad teams.

I'm not the one of the posters claiming all is doom for Clemson. I do think the trajectory of things should be a concern.

Yeah & how much is Clemson paying him to loose football games. I mean thus is getting ridiculous & needs somebody on his butt to figure out why can’t you do better than losing to Duke & tenn. & SC. And on & on. Y’all this is gonna be a long season. Thanks to Dabo.
