The “whistleblowers” at today’s House Oversight Committee hearing on what really happened in Benghazi, Libya last September were supposed to break the ### that would lead to President Obama’s eventual downfall, in the eyes of conservatives. Instead, these witness actually served to debunk several theories that the right-wing has pushed on Benghazi, leaving the hearing a fizzle for the GOP:

our country that Benghazi disaster occurred and now we have folks that do not want to take responsibility for their error in judgement prior to the attack. That and demanding a stand down to forces that are remain on the alert for situations like this. Anyone that tries to proclaim that no one is at fault, is simply ignoring the facts. Political officials that insist on not taking responsibility are more concerned about themselves than in the good of the country. They should step down! They are not worthy of representing our country.

did happen in the opinions of the whistle blowers, it pretty much waters down the dramatics of Fox, Glen Beck, Rush, and Levin.
I think the Obama Administration and State Dept. had their heads up their a$$es because of the elections, and getting that out there at least will help future administrations. I do think some state department employees get fired, and that will be the end of it, except if Hillary wins the nomination in 2016. Then we'll hear it again in the summer/fall of 2016.

Surely you are kidding? Telling them to stand down and not help is reason enough to find out "who made that decision not to help our embassy"
What if your children or your father died during that attack. Wanna bet you would want to know the truth.
What if that happened under Bush's term or anyone other than a demo. Are you suggesting it's not important?
You mentioned some names, well at least they want to know what happened. If someone screwed up they should step down. You would lose your job if you made an irresponsible choice like that!
