Trump quote at Jan 6th rally

At the rally in DC on Jan 6th, just before the "peaceful" protesters headed over to attack law enforcement officers, Trump said ...........

“When you catch somebody in a fraud, you are allowed to go by very different rules."

Love to hear trumpers comment on this.

That would be wrong to say. No argument here***

How about when you don't catch anybody in a fraud and then you decide to play by different rules conducting fraud on your own? Is that okay?

He didn't have it planned. He just instigated and enjoyed the violence. The laws he broke are different from that chaos he created.

Lawsuits are fine but losing 63 is a not so subtle hint. Also all the recounts …

its ok if you can't keep up. the court systems in multiple jurisdictions are keeping up. they will explain it to you once they are finished, but you won't be able to learn about what happened by watching fox, you gotta change the channel.

O.J. was found not guilty because the media had programmed the jury that all cops are racist. In Trump's case, the jury has been programmed that Orange Man Bad, no matter what words are said in court; the jury has already made up their mind.

Case in point. Grand jury members ho'ing themselves out on the Sunday circuit months before charges were brought.

I watched the interviews with the jurors after all of these years. Some said it was payback fr Rodney King. It goes well beyond the media. It was just about race in general.

pathetic that I have to respond to this, but the current charges are not in the "same courts that said OJ was not guilty".

different state, different judges, different juries, different charges and also almost 30 years apart.

seriously?

in the past 24 hours we've learned that you (keowee indians) should not be involved in discussions that require translators and you should not be involved in any legal proceedings.

you should stick to football.

whole scenario weeks before Jan 6 in order for Trump to declare martial law, and put off the election indefinitely.

Check teh date on this, because this was one of those meetings:

And then this was found out:

Wow.

CNN reported on information from two sources allegedly present in a meeting of Trump’s advisors in which there was not unanimity of opinion about whether or not to pursue the ‘Team Trump’ suspicions about election fraud. And hoo boy, these discussions were passionate. Finally, those two inside sources used in the CNN article from Dec. 2020 were not supporters of pursuing election fraud allegations; those two sources offered their opinion about the views of those who disagreed with them as “outrageous.”

This article was written for HS sophomores. People with any experience in managerial meetings witness passionate arguments from each ‘side’ as they express their support for their side.

Xxxxxxxxx

NYT learned that Trump had wanted to conceal the convergence of the J6 protester crowd in advance of J6.

Anyone remember that this didn’t happen, and that the Capitol police, FBI, State of NJ police, and US military all knew of the protest to be held at the Capitol Building well in advance of J6?

There are 2 dots to connect here. How was it that Trump, the mastermind who controlled the J6 crowd by telepathic messages, somehow failed in his command to the J6 crowd for them to not conceal their movements towards Washington, DC?

You tell me.

“When you catch somebody in a fraud, you are allowed to go by very different rules."

That was a nebulous statement by Trump. It didn’t make much sense, but hardly represents an instruction to protesters for them to cross the ‘no trespass’ barriers on the Capitol Building grounds.

How do you interpret Trump’s statement?

I don't think this requires much interpretation. The statement stands on its own. At minimum, it is an incorrect statment in the United States of America. Don't try to contest that. Period.

It doesn't really matter how you and I interpret this statement. It does matter how his Jan 6 audience interpreted the statement. While I dont know how they interpreted Don's statement, we all know for a fact some of the people in the audience at Don's Jan 6th rally have been sentenced to years in prison for the actions they took soon after Don made this statement.

These are not people I want to be associated with. These are not people I want leading our country.
