Word out of Furman is that football player Bryce Stanfield has passed away. Bryce was one of those guys who was all heart. He was an undersized DL but who played with a high motor. Sure he had always been told he was too small but sure that gave him chip he played with. He always had a ton of family at games in their 97 jerseys …..

Such a tragedy. Just went to conditioning like any other day and 11 hours later he is gone … lesson to us all. Love your family, cherish the moments with your children ….. you never know.

Terrible news to hear. I met his family last year and seemed like really good people. They were from around Macon Ga area. Praying for the family

The story was on twice just then during the 11pm news (WYFF) but they did not report him passing away.

16 min ago was still on life support. Maybe still a chance?
