So how is that move to the $EC looking?

Right now I’m seeing a program that would be able to compete for about 10th or so in the SEC with the current system. So for the extra 20 million, how many Tiger fans will be happy with this arrangement? A look at reality shows me that the internal chaos of the Tiger staff has to be flushed out and fixed before any moves can be considered.

We’re 10th in the mighty ACC and I’ll let you guess which way we’re trending. Do you think we’d stomp Arkansas or Vandy?
The SEC administration probably wants nothing to do with us but the coaches are gung ho for it

Clemson is not going anyway now. The value is doubtful right now. Maybe Big 12 or AAU? I could see that!

Clemson could possibly net more $$$ moving to CUSA and being the homecoming opponent for SEC programs, even Vandy.

Why are so many people making this argument now? Things have changed. It’s pure Mister Obvious at this point that we aren’t in a position to go to SEC. But we were a few years back and would have benefited in terms of money and recruits insistent on playing in the SEC.
