Just ready to have an o-line that is mean, nasty, and loves to beat the #### out of defenses.

so refreshing to see the recruiting issue is better here. we'll see how they pan out but at least we are finally able to sign a few highly rated ones. for years we couldnt even get a nibble from one

Could be hard to keep Mitch Hyatt off the field this year even though a freshman starting is rare. Same with Jake. Still, that could happen. I do like thinking about what we'll have going forward and who we'll get a commitment from. I'll skip forward to 2016-
We lose- Isaiah Battle, Joe Gore, Eric Mac Lain, Ryan Norton Hoping to get- Sean Pollard, Parker Boudreaux, John Simpson, EJ Price
LT- Mitch Hyatt- So. E.J. Price Fr, Zach Giella RsFr. LG- Oliver Jones Sr. Noah Green - RsFr. John Simpson Fr C- Jay Guillermo Sr. Justin Falcinelli RsSo. RG- Tyrone Crowder- Jr. Parker Boudreaux Fr, Taylor Hearn RsSo. RT- Jake Fruhmorgen- So. Maverick Morris RsSo. Sean Pollard RsFr.
Very solid looking group in 2016 indeed. Plus at the end of the year we'll only lose Oliver Jones and Jay Guillermo. If you're wondering, I put Oliver Jones in there because I'd really like to see him do well with all that he's been through. Perhaps it could be a little safer bet to pencil in Noah or someone else. If I've got it right we'll lose two going into 2017. Let's assume we take three and I'll just take a stab in the dark and throw three names out there and then give ya a very rough, early depth chart.
OL Tyler Fannin 6-3 290 Hoschton, GA Mill Creek HS
Claims a 5.3 40 time, 285 bench, and 395 squat. Offensive MVP National Underclassman All-American Game. Has a 3.2 GPA. After junior day had this to say, “It was awesome. I love CLEMSON more and more every time I visit. Today was incredible. I had the chance to meet with coach Swinney, Venables, and Caldwell. They liked my size and film and all invited to camp this summer and games this fall.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w8_mNIRPag
No stranger to Clemson- He went to say more glowing thing about Clemson and the people that work there. "I love Clemson the culture, the family and the Clemson way. I would love to be a part of their future which is only going to get better. I would love to be a part of the Clemson family!" Fanin was able to tour the facilities and got a chance to talk to some of the Clemson coaches. "I sat with coach Caldwell at lunch and had a good time with coach Scott, coach Elliott, coach Venables and Coach Swinney."
"I got invited to the 2015 Dabo Swinney football camp," said Fanin. The 2017 recruit is no stranger to TigerTown because he has been going to the Clemson football camps since he was only 10 years old. http://www.tigernet.com/update/recruiting/Georgia-OL-I-love-Clemson-culture-18888
Sophomore Film- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi6lp1pplBA
OL Trey Smith 6-5 275 University School of Jackson

Named a state player of the year finalist for his respective classification. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3994744/trey-smith
On Clemson and the offer- “It was awesome,” Smith said. “First, when we came to Clemson, we saw all the orange and purple. The campus was beautiful, from what I saw. We first came in and I saw coach (Robbie) Caldwell at the door and I talked to him, then I saw my recruiter, coach (Dan) Brooks. From the moment we got in those doors everybody was nice. It was awesome. It was a great experience. Everybody was trying to make you feel welcome. I’m just a sophomore. I’ve got two more years to make up my mind, so it’s way too early to determine who’s at the top my list right now,” he said. “I’m just going to take my time with all the recruiting and try and weigh all my choices, to see which one is best for me and my foreseeable future.”
OL Blake Vinson 6-5 275 Winter Garden, FL Trinity Catholic
5* according to SigningDay.com and they list him as the #9 OT and 39th nationally. Visited Clemson during bowl practice in Orlando. Has early offers from FAU and USF. Grew up a Georgia fan and said they're his early favorite followed by Florida and Auburn.

I know he's had lots of injury problems, but haven't seen that he's done officially. I assume we'll hinor his scholarship as a medical hardship.

i CANNOT wait to see us even have an above-average o-line, which i think we will achieve this year. o-line literally helps the entire team. keeps qb on his feet more, more time of possession, let our defense play w/ a lead, etc.
if DW has 4+ seconds to read a defense & get to our receivers, no one's gonna be able to cover that long. also gallman/feaster/dye/scott/mccloud running behind actual holes. no doubt it's the missing piece to our championship run!
Go Clemson!
