Nope. Kid isn't going to Texas to follow a coach. He'd only get one season. He's not gonna spend a year on the bench when he only has 2 years left.

He came here to play for Morris. He said this many times during his recruitment. To say he wouldn't consider it is being absurdly shortsighted.

How many ones has a starting player followed a coach to another school? Since it's incredibly rare, I would venture to call the notion you suggest farfetched and almost inconceivable.

When he was asked about the possibility of Coach Morris taking a job with another program, DW made it very clear he was coming to Clemson for Clemson not Chad Morris. No story here so next subject please.

He said many times he'd follow Morris before he got to Clemson. Its an entirely different deal to transfer schools. He is a 3 year player. He will jump after three years. He's not going to spend one of those on the bench so he can follow a coach to a school that is not going to get him the national spotlight that could lead to a top 5 pick in the draft. Its just not going to happen. And if it does then that's a mistake made by Watson and we'll deal with the next man up.

Not sure what you have read but DW has been on record as saying he is committing to Clemson not a coach. He knew that Morris would likely leave before he graduated or departed early for the NFL. This entire topic is laughable.

Doesn't this all depend on who would get hired as the new OC. Assuming they run the same offense, it shouldn't be a big deal.

If you received a full academic scholarship to Clemson, would you go to Greenville Tech instead?

Of course I wouldn't but I'm a die hard Clemson fan. Some of the forum posting suggested that he would follow Morris.

The only way I see it happening is if it all goes horribly wrong. He gets injured and needs a year of rehab and the new Tigers OC runs a scheme that DW doesn't appreciate. There is your coot wishful thinking scenario, a million to one, but yeah, there's a chance.

For the sake of argument I will point out that they have pretty girls in Texas also, plus bros before hos, but no I don't see it happening either for reasons that don't involve poontang.

is a grown man beyond his years. There is no way he would move that far from his single mother. She recently surviving cancer and all. I guess it takes some genuine fear for all of us to mature? He's not leaving his mother. Bank on that

CM is the one that he insulted on the sidelines of the spring game and at practice which help lead to his dismissal. CM knows how this kid is and will be like that forever.

That is the dumbest question I have ever heard on this website, and that's saying something. Why in the #### would he go to smu? He would have to sit a year and he would be the qb of a horrible team. I don't understand why anyone would even think he would consider that. Just ignorant, clueless, dilusional people would think that.
