using logic i dont see how we could get punished for a bad game we won meanwhile bama had a bad game against ole miss and lost..considering they are ranked number two one would think we would be allowed to have a bad game with no penalty considering bama didnt get penalized for their loss

Every single team Bama beat was also beat by someone other than Bama.
Bama has also had close wins, like UT.
We have also won big.
And based on rankings we have the highest quality win of the CFP Top 25: we beat #4 ND.
