Should Klubnick be benched, at least in the short term?

When you have a QB who directly disobeys what instructions he has been given with the game literally on the line, that is a big problem in my book. How can you trust that guy? He is literally freewheeling and taking down a multiimillion dollar brand.

Now, the handoff to Shipley may have failed miserably, and we still lose. But, at least Dabo could get up there and shoulder the blame for that one. But when the player doesn't do what he was specifically told to do, how can the coach be accountable for that? Short answer, he can't. And that is a problem.

IF Hunter Helms is healthy, time to see what he can bring to the table. The results can't be any worse than an offense that looks disjointed, turns the ball over, and loses games. We already have that now.

Klubfoot is the perfect QB for Dabo. He can just deflect and say "Gosh dang it, the QB was supposed to do THIS", rather than accept blame for the dumpster fire he's turned Clemson football into.

He is a its all on me Q/B, plus our sorry rookie coaches drag our players down, look how good D J is playing now!

Dabo should play whoever he thinks gives us the best chance to win. Having said that, I could definitely see him hold Cade for a couple of series or quarter as punishment for his disobedience.

We’re 4-3 with 3 conference losses I have no issue with that, but Dabo however is will think otherwise.

Just Klubnick is the problem? Last year it was DJ and Streeter. I sense a pattern here. Unresolved issues maybe with the Offense?

As usual, the players are the problem...not Yabbo Dabbo Dummy.

Its a perfect scenario for Dabo and the 98.5%.

He can blame Cade for not running the play as he wanted, even though that play was a horrible play call with a low chance of success. Cade is the disobedient child, and Dabo is the victim of it.

Dabo can keep talking about how close we’ve been this year, how we are a few plays away, and maintaining that we are a good football team.

You 98.5% will buy this ridiculousness as usual.

I think CK and WS need a dose of bench sitting.

My question is whether or not backups are better. Panic and chaos maybe the answer!

better? no. But Helms can hold his own, he spins a good ball. Does not make many mistakes.

Maybe Helms for several series to let Klubnik watch the game. But my take is Klubnik, Brown, Williams, and sometimes Briningstool & Stellato are completely on their own on the offensive side of the ball. No blocking. Little WR separation. No speed.

Dabo's call, but if he got to sit at least a half next week I would be fine with it. Was thinking this earlier today.
