SEC over B10 any day

I'd prefer Clemson move to the SEC over the BIG any day. I just don't like many of the teams in the BIG too much and we just don't mesh well. Our culture is a Southern Culture and I believe we mesh better with SEC schools rather than BIG schools. Just my opinion for the 2 cents that it's worth.

Agreed. But if we move to the B1G I guess we’ll have to expand our horizons.***

Not to the Arctic! The SEC will match any Big 10 deal, and ESPN would cut us slack on the GOR deal. Plus playing Florida, Ole Miss, LSU TAM, OU, Texas, Tennessee, Bama, Auburn make sense. Playing UCLA, USC, Minnesota, Iowa, Rutgers, Northwestern males no sense!
Eventually, there will be 2 super conferences with about 48 teams that play for National Championships! We will have to be on the SEC side of the equation, until then Dominate the ACC!
Go Tigers, Whoop Dook!

Not me. Both the SEC and B1G seem too concerned about money, but the SEC has completely sold their soul in the pursuit of becoming NFL-lite. The B1G at least has some regard for academics. I do not like either one, but if we leave the ACC, I would prefer the B1G to the SEC.

Oh yeah, sure THE BIG TEN HAS A THING FOR ACADEMICS !! Like they just do not recruit those 4 or 5 star football players if they have bad grades. If you really believe that , then call my friend to discuss ocean front property in Arizona. EatAtDans

It may be alive but it certainly isn't well.

Decades of failed genuine proactive leadership under John Swofford will be its undoing.

Agree CP0311 - I can’t get excited about any likely BIG schedule. Sure - would love to have OSU or Mich each year but beyond that - nothing very attractive. 100% would prefer the SEC. That is without question the best football conf. Plus - schedule would be more fun and away games more appealing.

Just talking with several SEC fan bases, they see no point in adding Clemson since they already have South Carolina.

That is enough reason to add Clemson alone. Coots are trash and bring nothing to the conference.

Are you saying we mesh better with a culture that looks the other way when cheating is in plain sight, that values football over education, that cares little about the players once the eligibility is over, that cares nothing about developing players off the field and supports mind numbing group think where their team is great based on another school in their conference winning a championship?

I am pretty sure the SEC has a pretty high education mark that players are required to meet. I heard something about it just the other day, but I didn't catch all of it, but the SEC is apparently one of the few conferences that have an education requirement.

I prefer the B1G
We’d stand out regionally and it doesn’t have the competitive depth of the SEC, particularly at the LOS
The money is better, too

Might be true, but they will never invite us. We have one shot for financial security, and that's the B1G. If we get the opportunity, we'll have to embrace it and buy a few pairs of thermal long handles. Stay relevant and GO TIGERS!

Unfortunately the SEC is too scared to face Clemson multiple times a year. They are FSU-COVID-forfeit-level scared of our Tigers, especially since the 44-16 Beatdown by the Bay.

No one is the SEC is scared of Clemson. That is just ridiculous. These are teams that play Bama and Georgia and Tennessee and all the other top SEC teams every year. They aren't scared. In fact, I am willing to bet a lot of SEC fans would love Clemson in the conference.
