60s when I was a kid - still go ever summer when my family's on vacation at the beach. It's still a good, reliable place for a real good seafood dinner.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Went to Lee's. What you would expect from a long term family owned business. Nothing real fancy on the restaurant, just great food and service.
Thanks for the help.

Conch. Good drinks and food and on the beach. Nance’s is great if you like roasted oysters and if they are available in a “R” monuu

Nance's. Spending the last 20 years going there. Beautiful view around 6 or 7 o'clock. Get the broiled platter!

If Lee’s is busy, order fish n grits at Hot Fish Club and have yourself a little vacation within a vacation. Really, really good dish.

Been living in Garden City for past three years. Been to Lee's three times. First was great. Last two were horrible and the staff could care less. I'm done with them. J Peters between 3 and 6 has great shrimp or fish for half the price of others. Gulfstream before 6 pm has great seafood at lower pricing, too. Russell's is old family place and good. Drunken Jack's and Sarah J's have been good. Best burgers are at Greg's Cabana in Garden City or Beach BBQ in Pawleys (great ole time milk shakes there, too).

If you are going thru Georgetown, the Big Tuna is the place. No fancy restaurant but the seafood is fresh daily. Highly recommend.
