Finally getting to come to a Clemson game!!!

Oct 13, 2014, 1:09 PM

My family and I are finally getting to come to a game next month when we play Georgia State. We are going to stay in Anderson Friday and Saturday night. Never been to Clemson or surrounding area. Anyone have any tips on where to eat, or what to do before game etc? We are really excited and any info would be greatly appreciated. Want to have the best time we can

Red Lobster is a must if staying in the Anderson area...

Butt seriously, if you want to eat some awesome BBQ, stop by the Smokin' Pig on 76 in your way into Clemson. You will pass right by it on your left. You may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it.

There's also the Elite Showclub in Seneca for some after hours fun. BYOB!

There's a bunch of shops and what not downtown as well, you're coming at a good time, at least it won't be 90 degrees so walking around is an option.

Rule #1

Oct 13, 2014, 1:38 PM

Anderson is a city.

Rule #2 They have a mall, nothing grand but it is a mall.

Rule #3 They have lots of places to eat.

BTW--If you can't make it to The Smokin Pig, you can get it at the game inside or outside the stadium.

Oct 13, 2014, 1:43 PM

To you it probably is just another town.

Some parts of Anderson County are world famous for their meth, so there's always that!

Re: It's not a big city but they are a city.

Oct 13, 2014, 1:45 PM

Theres not shortage of meth where I live either. As a matter of fact I think it was invented here in Alabama! Lol, I grew up in Goose Creek. Im not accustomed to much.

Awesome!! You are talking to a man who is accustomed to eating breakfast from a Gas station Deli. Gravy fries sound wonderful.

TigerWalk is 2 hours before kickoff, worth seeing since you have never been.

Get in your seats about 30 minutes before kickoff so you are there for all the pregame stuff on the field and most importantly to see the Tigers run down The Hill.
