Respect your opponent. They will improve and we better be ready in November. They know what they are doing.

Recruits jumping ship , perrennial doormat save the last 4 seasons before 2014 , juco patch jobs by a 70 year old coach who believes throwing with a 4th quarter 2 TD lead is actually a good idea ...and getting no help on the coordinator side of things. Yeah , they have great reason to be optimistic.

They were already supposed to suck next year, this year was just an early Christmas present, recruiting will hit them harder next year than this and get worse each year , after Slurrier's comments and a 5-7 season.

What also delusional is to think your team will improve but ours won't. You were beat by a QB with a torn ACL...does that not sink into your heads. Try picturing what he'll do with another year on him, some more bulk where he becomes more of a run threat in the game than just 2 TD's on a bad leg, and has 2 good legs. Then you add in the recruiting that Clemson has (a 5* WR in Cain to add to the freshman that just won), returns of several injured players that weren't in the game (Brooks, Choice @ RB)...
Do you really just think that Clemson stays no better than they were coming in the game with injuries the next year?

Did not mention Clemson in my comments at all.
Yes I fully expect us to be better. My point is SC will likely improve. Ranked 13th in rivals. That is still one of their best recruiting years lately, even with some de commits.
They seem to know they were weak this year. We did not beat a good team, so nothing to brag about. Just get the team ready in Nov. Expect a war that day. They will not just lay down for us.

Our ACC schedule will have us over-prepared for a weaker OOC opponent, just like in 2014.
The coots might be tied with Wake Forest for third-worst team on our schedule this year.
