Tried to look up what he was making and can not find it anywhere. Said on one of the sites that TCU and Baylor were private schools and did not disclose as much as all schools do.

reference, which said it was "estimated" at $330,000 a year. That would be on par with past salaries that I could find for coaches at TCU. He and his family will certainly be living comparatively large at Clemson, deserving for the Broyles Award winner.

Wouldn’t call it a steal. Hopefully he’ll be worth it but $1.75MM per year is $1.75MM per year. For a 33 year old with how many years of experience?

and he turned it down. I'm pretty sure TCU would have matched that offer, too. Seems to me that he wants to be at Clemson, and not just for the money.
