Name, image, likeness... what does that have to do with getting free tattoos?


I NEVER liked the penalty they got; that 12-0 team with Braxton Miller was championship-caliber, make no mistake, & I don't know how any player on every team is coated in tattoos these days (it ain't cheap!).


But it's simply not NIL!

I don't get the logic behind going back and undoing penalties for rules that existed at the time just because those rules are different now.

Let's say weed becomes legal in all 50 states and the NFL does away with their ban on weed as a drug they test for and as a result they stop issuing suspensions and fines for weed. With the above logic, any NFL player that's been fined over the years for testing positive for weed would be able to get the money they paid out in fines paid back to them.
