Haha yeah we all knew Finebaum had no idea what he was talking about. He was simply stating what he hoped would happen.

He knows that Clemson and FSU look to be a package deal and was only trying to stir up Clemson fans . His fan base is only SEC teams so he likes baiting Clemson , and FSU fans to respond to his idiocy . Nothing based on facts

The SEC has certainly already met the quota on programs with bad boy personas and questionable ethics.

Agree. No reason to be part on unethical SEC. Should remain in ACC and maintain elite status

What? 2 weeks after Miami announces they're joining the AAU

there are rumors that the SEC isn't considering them and they are a better fit for the Big Ten?
It feels a bit like the tail is wagging the dog.
But whatever.
Is anyone...ANYONE...surprised that the exact opposite of Finebaum's opinion may actually be the case?

Not much in there about Clemson. Is this an FSU site?

OK, they're the voices in my head, it's practically the same thing. The SEC will come hat in hand to Clemson and FSU. They will offer to write a huge check to cover our exit. They will have one non-negotiable condition however- the ACC must agree to take Vandy and SCar off their hands.

But would tell the SEC to pound sand over SCU.

That would make WAY too much sense for it to ever happen. I have said for years that Vandy, Usuck and KY belong in the ACC and Clemson, FSU belong in the SEC. Just makes sense.

I'd encourage folks not to click on Paul's links. It's like making a contribution to his mad money account. Those pennies add up

Take it for what it's worth but I had read some time ago in an article that an Big Ten source stated that there were only 5 desirable brands left for the SEC and B1G. Those were Oregon, Notre Dame, UNC, Clemson and FSU. Made sense to me.

They will need it. They have no stadium and can't even fill the pro stadium they rent. In that sense they really have nothing in common with the Big 10 schools with huge university owned campus stadiums.

I lived in West Palm Beach & had a furniture business before I got married, the Miami fans are nothing compared to the Clemson fans, they have no idea how to be loyal fans to anything at all. They should have stayed at the original Orange Bowl in Miami, they could occasionally fill up 50 thousand fans.
It’s like two different worlds.

An interesting development for Miami will be a new stadium being built for the FC Miami MLS franchise next to the MIA Airport. UM could benefit from a smaller venue that's closer to campus.
I don't know if UM would be allowed or invited to share a facility like that, but it would be good for UM.

Clemson and Florida St and the SEC fit perfectly together!
No surprise Miami will go to the Big 10.
