perhaps an extra 30 seconds, or a 5th or 6th dowm, it just isn't right to not have SEC SEC in there, you know its not right, now lets add a little time and finish the game tommorrow.

They tried their best to get Texas down the field several times. But Texas kept shooting themselves in the foot and committed penalties the officials had to call.

I read where a few NFL crews were demoted from being able to officiate any more playoff games because of incompetence.

I suppose I could see the call on the sideline being a no-catch, but otherwise I'm not sure I remember any calls going (incorrectly) in UT's favor.

Earlier posts claimed the refs were in the bag for Washington, so I guess that must mean they did a decent job if different folks think they were favoring both sides.

The refs were fine. It’s just natural to ride them after a game. This crew was actually pretty good.

Better than the Rose Bowl crew. Those guys didn't call any holding calls the entire game, and there were several blatant holds by Alabama.

Maybe they just decided to let the teams play? I don't know, didn't watch the 2nd half of the Sugar, but the first half was a pretty fair game as far as officiating went.
