Really Worried About Shipley’s Appearance
Oct 31, 2021, 10:56 AM
|

During post-game, it looked as if he had not showered after leaving the field. He should have tried to clean up his eyebrows a touch, and if he wants the gruff look or even trying to grow a full beard, he’ll need to even it out periodically. He should have at least ran a comb through his hair. This is a growing concern of mine and I see it more and more.
Trevor always washed his hair, kept his little mustache under control and regularly ran his fingers through his hair during interviews to show it was tangle-free. Deshaun was great about keeping his facial hair even and had beautifully kept waves on his head.
You should dress for the job you want, not the job you have. This could be why we’re 4-3 and not 7-0. It is also why I wear a clown outfit to my job at Zaxby’s.

Maybe he refuses to groom or bathe until we win a National Championship.

I think he is using the wrong conditioner and that's good for at least 1 loss.

He was probably too tired to give a crap about how he looked - he’d just left everything on the field in doing his best to get the win. Maybe he’ll look prettier when the rest of offense gets it in gear.

How about some hair mousse? I think that would do wonders for his Heisman chances down the road.

We should all be concerned about what our players wear, how they comb their hair, and, well, you know...

Did you happen to see all of the mud under his fingernails? Embarrassing for the program.

I think he would be a better face for our program if he wore a fedora with a flamingo feather on the side. I could also see him do something really masculine like wear a kilt or eyeliner.
That would be dope.
Ooh, what if he got face tattoos.

Are we now so petty that we criticize a player's post-game appearance or compare his appearance to another former player? Why not just enjoy the fact we beat an upcoming FSU team? Shipley showed the heart and soul of what makes Clemson football so special. He gives it his all and leaves everything on the field. Simply be proud he is part of the Clemson family!

I promise you decorum does not make a football player. I would say that he left it all on the field. The way he chose to play I don’t care if he had a snot bubble in the enterview. Go Shipley

I wonder if "Ralph Sharpton" can run 128 yards at all, let alone with poor blocking. I cant believe that this post is real but then I remember the ESPN "announcers" criticizing Shipley's shoe style.

Pure immaturity - we should bench him immediately - he's obviously not starter material. If he starts stroking his 'stache during interviews, I hope someone complains about it on Tnet

???????????? That young man played his butt off and that is all you can come up with???
Some of you on here are bi polar whiners. You are trying to create drama where there is none. DJU and his suits and his combing down hair and goatee with his hand. Maybe it was his way of releasing nervous energy. Trying to look confident when he was all but. Who knows.
You are down on DJU (understandable) and you want Puma ... Dabo puts Puma in and within two plays , you are screaming to bench him. You Start on the OLine.. (Again understandable) Gripe.... Gripe .... Gripe....throwing in implied expletives about TE...Dabo...Streeter.. and Caldwell. As If that isn't enough , you start in on our defense!! A few of you had the unmitigated gall to talk negative about Coach V. What the ?????
I have been frustrated about the play calling, all the missed opportunities and the Hot Mess we call an OLine just like the rest. Then I realized nothing was going to change with the coaching staff nor DJU so I chose to try and quit complaining. (Shout out to the poster who called out the true fans and questioned whether we are really All In) To really support our guys and appreciate the ones that leave it all on the field.
Maybe you could try it and quit worrying about whether one of our guys had the time to shower before he was called out to interview. BTW.... I watched his interview , he looked like a young man that had been ridden hard the last two hours. His facial hair and hair on his head is irrelevant.

The two sophomore girls in our group thought he looked pretty darn good. I imagine he would be more interested in the coed rating than the alumni rating.

Sometimes I am reminded that a lot of people don’t know what sarcasm is or how to detect it. Anyways some of these Tigernet threads are gold Jerry.
