With a little investigation, there has to be some evidence of John Swofford and the ACC Board of Directors enjoying some Raycom hospitality. A little quid pro quo can go a long way ... and lets face it, a 1.86 billion dollar contract for a company with 50 employees is significant amount of revenue.
All things being equal, the loyalty shown to Raycom is admirable ... maybe even cute ... but my intuition is there is more to the story. The oldest story in sports and life in the 21st century seems to be "follow the money".
