Has to happen between now and September for Clemson to have a successful season in 2024. A number of quality players were missing yesterday so it’s difficult to judge the team on one “practice game” but my team didn’t impresss me very much yesterday. It’s almost impossible to evaluate a team playing touch football so the Spring Game in just a party for the fans. A party that I really enjoy! I’m sure that I have seen thirty of them.Work to do but I have great confidence in this coaching staff. What a pleasure to be back on our amazing campus with fellow Tigers. Enjoy the moment. We are promised nothing so live the life of a Tiger!

You said you’ve been to 30 Spring games. Do you recall one where you WERE impressed? I quit going because of exactly what you said- the game means nothing. Even when we were in our streak of CFP appearances, I remember people talking about how unimpressed there were at the Spring game.

I don’t go to the game to be impressed. If I did I would never go! I go because it’s CLEMSON! Nothing like supporting those things in life that are meaningful for you. Try it. You might like it.

2024? If it has to be winning the Natty, then you and fans of all schools in the country but one are going to go home disappointed.

For me, us MAKING the Playoffs would be considered a successful season. Winning a first round game IN the Playoffs would be a VERY successful season. Winning it ALL would be an unexpected DREAM season.
