Prefer Salieri over Mozart and either over World Cup soccer

Jun 28, 2014, 10:31 PM

in any context whatsoever as in participation, through attendance, or via mere conversation. And to think how often I have been told my posts are not Clemson related. When in fact, anything I say is Clemson related merely because I, as the avid Clemson fan I am, say it. Have never understood why this is so difficult for the uninitiated to grasp.

I prefer Skynard over World Cup. Not quite Mozart though.

Who needs Neil Young around anyhow?

Always play "Sweet Home Alabama" on my drive into Anderson from Atlanta --- usually at a Waffle House along the way --- I remember years ago also always playing CCR's 11:05 version of Heard It through the Grapevine.

So yes I know the Allman Brothers --- Jessica was always a favorite --- Also enjoy Marshall Tucker and saw them here at Cerritos Performing Arts Center a year or so ago (Doug Gray). Seeing/Hearing them at Clemson in early 1970's is a riveting memory --- loved the use of the flute --- Can't You See --- Take The Highway.

quality of soccer in the world cup is kicking the doors off most of what passes for college football in this country, or pro football for that matter. Exciting soccer being played by people who mostly aren't prima donnas, in a venue where I'm not having to suffer through 5 minute commercial breaks after every 3 minutes of actual play.
