Tua's surgery

Link below that shows the details of the surgery. If my kid had this surgery there is no way he would be playing in 2 weeks. Screws in a major, weight bearing bone need time to heal. The recovery is 4-6 weeks before any weight on the ankle.
https://www.ypo.education/orthopaedics/foot-ankle/syndesmosis-with-tightrope-fixation-t230/video/Syndesmosis with Tightrope Fixation The ankle is made up of the tibia and fibula bones of the lower leg, and the tarsus bone of the foot. They are held together by ligaments, which provide strength and stability during movement. The tibia and the fibula are held together by the syndesmosis joint, a special joint that allows very little motion between the bones, but provides strong stability to the ankle joint. Syndemosis surgery with TightRope fixation uses a wire, which when tensioned and positioned against the tibia and fibula, correctly aligns and stabilizes the bones.

The real question is, if Tua was your kid, would you beat him with a belt over football?

Daddy Tuga is the one that pushed for it. If Tua said no, Daddy Tuga was gonna pull off his belt.

Are you sure on the recovery time? 4-6 weeks is around the typical time for a high ankle sprain to typically recover isn't it? The surgery is used to help those heal faster aren't they?

Saban has to be careful here and I think he will. The downside of rushing Tua back too soon is huge. The media fallout would be brutal.
Decent chance he does not play against LSU. We'll see.

Media fallout for Dabo that is. No matter what happens they go for him. They'll probably try to drag him into the Ukraine and Kurd issues

He will be out for LSU and they will lose (but also would have lost anyway except for high likelihood of home cooking). They will go on to win the rest of their games. Unless Ok or Ohio state loses there will be major politicking for the CFP to take a 1 loss no Tua team over us. I don’t see the commitee doo g it but there is precedent and frankly don’t want to hear it. In addition to being a Clemson fan and fan of whomever is paying SCAR I am also now a big Wisconsin fan. I don’t see Oklahoma losing.

I have been saying if LSU beats Bama, O31o State and Boomer sooner win out it will come down to Clemson and a 1 loss Bama for the last spot. That's why all the talking heads trying to spin this Clemson not good bs to try and get Bama in when LSU spanks them. I think Wisconsin can beat OSU and do us a huge favor so this week I'm a huge whiskey fan.
