My whole family is "Christian Conservatives". I do appreciate Trump in that he has exposed them as completely FoS and shown that that they don't really believe all that crap they've been spewing their entire lives. CC's will NEVER be taken seriously again. 😆

Is Johnson defending Trump’s marital infidelities?Is he defending him as a moral man?
I missed that if so. I do agree that many in the Christian right do not do nearly enough in calling out Trump’s moral failings and frankly ministers, black and white need to get out of playing in the political pool as it’s a nasty place.
Johnson is showing his support for Trump as this trial was cobbled together as a political hit.
This is not about whether Trump banged Stormy while Melania was preggers.
Trump is a terribly flawed human being, but Johnson’s support is not about ignoring Trump’s peccadilloes, but about supporting someone being knee capped by partisan Dems.

you are acting as if he is someone who is innocent of committing fraud, that is what this trial is about. Personally, I think it is a waste of time, there are far more compelling cases against him, this is a dog and pony show. But the bottom line is that he committed the crime, he should be treated no differently than anyone else, except cough, a prison sentence for simple white caller crime. That would ultimately do more harm than good, even if he is guilty, which it appears that he is.

They took two state misdemeanors past the statute of limitations and tried to convict him of a federal crime.
You didn’t have to tell everyone you got high daily; all I needed to see was this statement: “he should be treated no differently than anyone else”. LOL. JFC.

I think Johnson thinks this is a waste of time and dog and pony show too.
That’s why he’s there offering GOP support as this trial is a politically motivated hit.
From what I’ve listened to so far, I would guess he banged Stormy. Fraud, not convinced of that at this point.
It’s too bad for him that his memory remains intact at his age.
Yep, equal justice would be nice.

can't support anyone who has failings - then they need to go read The Bible. I guess Biden can't support his son anymore.
I get it - Trump is not perfect - far from it. But, if you require perfection from someone, you won't be able to support anyone.
That said - I'm sure Trump has probably crossed the line to where even Jesus would say, "C'mon man."
