Let's pray for Global peace because this is hitting a critical point. I understand every facet but Putin put the world on a bad track. That track seems to empowered those that believed the US kept big countries in check or believed that the US was pure allies with power countries. When rogue countries saw we had much less power they have decided to test the waters. Hard to see simple resolutions quickiky at this point.

I would rather pray for the destruction of Iran. My thinking is based on which benefits the rest of the world, the destruction of Iran or the destruction of Israel? Clearly the human condition improves without Iran in the picture. It is also clear that the war between Muslims and Christians is ancient and there is no common ground so one has to go else there will never be peace.

Amen, jstone! No responsive action from Iran is just a lull until it figures out how to deliver a nuke, since its uranium enrichment is already at "weapons grade."
When they lob one at Israel, Israel will respond with several ... and Iran will be gone.

this token response from Israel, saying it came from instigators inside their own country, instead. That way, they can save face without making the "Total and Devastating" response they promised if Israel retaliated for THEIR attack on Israel, which was in response to ISRAEL's attack on them.
These people have literally been fighting for thousands of years, so anyone who thinks it will just suddenly stop altogether is dreaming. But, at least, it appears they both have enough sense to know when to de-escalate when the next step would be the doorstep to nuclear Armageddon.

Iran's leaders are not rational people. Plus, they use religion as the basis for their hate of Israel so there will never be peace until there's a leadership change in Iran. This is also why agreements mean nothing to them and they will use nuclear weapons when they are able to get developed which changes the world.
