Stanford baseball just had a 2 way star enter the transfer portal. I don’t know if we have any chance but throws 98, and absolutely rakes. Had 17 homers/ 61 RBIS and is a switch hitter which we need. Give him a look, Braden Montgomery.

doubt he hit the portal without a deal already in his pocket. (Even though that is supposed to be illegal.) What a bad joke this NIL fiasco has become. This is what happens when the NCAA just throws up its hands and says "I Quit." And yet, they still want to nitpick other things.

I'd love to get him, he'd be a great middle of the order guy to fill in some of the power gaps that Amick and Grice left, but it ain't gonna happen. He's the highest regarded transfer to enter the portal in baseball maybe ever--he's in the same tier as Tommy White and Paul Skenes. He's undoubtedly heading to the SEC if he doesn't go back to Stanford (Kendall Rodgers reported that that is a possibility.)

He's from Mississippi, and has HS teammates and friends at Mississippi State, so I think them and Ole Miss have to be the top landing spots. Tennessee, Arkansas, Vandy, and LSU will obviously throw their money in the ring and see if he will chase NIL dollars. Anyone have about $250k laying around that they could use to try and sign him to a bogus NIL deal?
