Personally, I will take the loss like a man

The best team won today -- the team with the more explosive playmakers. Congrats to bretfsu® and Seminoles for winning on the road and job well done by Tiger fans for bringing it to stadium today. The Seminoles went for it, dialing up blitzes, and long range passes. Frustrating loss. Life goes on.
An A-plus effort by the Tiger players. And a C+/B- effort from Tiger coaches. The Tigers were just a step too slow, and the play calls on Offense & Defense a bit too conservative. But can't fault the effort. Cade played tough in only his fifth start. Why a major college program cannot recruit or evaluate a competent kicker remains unexplainable. The Tiger's top kicker is at UNC - believed that after Spring game.
Let's play the younger players for the balance of season, and start building for NCSU, Miami, Notre Dame, South Carolina and bowl game. Always a Tiger!

I can agree with you there Bill. Good call. But FSU had faster & more explosive players and more aggressive coaches. Clemson players did win on effort. Tough loss but conservatism is tricky vs. talented explosive teams. Like keeping a snake in an open jar.

Players did their job but our coaches let them down. Some key bad schemes and play calls on both offense and defense really hurt us. It is so frustrating because this staff seems so disconnected. We can still have a decent season but I am concerned the players may give up on them if we aren't careful.

I disagree. The team with the least mistakes won today.
We make the 30 something yard field goal we win…Phil picks up the block instead of Cabe fumbling we win…..run the #### ball at 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 if needed….we possibly win.
We beat ourselves AGAIN.

I'll probably start posting again tomorrow.
I will just say this: FSU was very fortunate to win the game. Clemson controlled the game most of the day. Look at the stats. Clemson won virtually every stat except the one that counts - points scored.
I expect Clemson will finish the season 10-2.
The FSU game was clearly the best game they have played all year, by far.

bretfsu® finally someone with common sense. Being there I thought Clemson controlled the game and FSU felt fortunate to come out with a win. Hats off to FSU it was a great one to witness.
If we didn’t have Grisham coaching WR’s and had Venables back we probably would have blocked the guy that scooped and scored.
We had one more TO and a missed FG. Difference in the game. Nothing more, nothing less. Folks can spin it till they get sick but points off of TO’s and missed FG’s have gotten us beat twice.
