I apologize if this has already been posted. What are your thoughts on the IPTAY parking email from yesterday? I have a feeling a bunch of us need to pony up more money or get moved.

They definitely are trying to get more money. I got moved last year out of my parking area due to construction. Funny thing was there was zero construction on that parking lot and only about 15 cars was parked in that lot which generally holds over 100 vehicles.

Seems late. Thought you had to have half of your commitment in by Feb. 15, so no chance to increase it now even if you wanted, right?

The email states that we have until April 15th to improve our “resume” for the parking spot assignment battle.

Do we have until April 15th to get a refund and bail? They could have sent this email BEFORE the deadline. People will either pony up, or they won't. Sending it AFTER people committed is pretty crappy.

Yes, I paid my 50% last week and, yes, I increased to the next level even before I got the email.

I don’t know about cutting bait with a refund but, I will be upping mine too because I like my parking. I have been on borrowed time with my lot for two years.

Perhaps the donations were not what they were expecting after the Feb. 15 deadline so they're doing this to try to push folks to pitch in more? I can't imagine there were a ton of folks who've decided on their own to donate more, given the last few seasons.
