Our offensive coaches were exposed last night (season) and

will be further exposed when DJ has a breakout season at OSU. The fact that we had 2 backs that got 4-6 yards on EVERY carry and we CHOSE to put the pressure on a freshman QB in his first start IN the OB are proof that the play caller (whomever it is) is in over their head

Sorry you missed the game last night. We ran the ball 45 times but you are correct some of them were Cade running for his life. Tennessee was way faster as a team than we were.

Yes, Cade toted 20 times.

Ship average was 4.2 - 17 totes
Mafah average was 5.6 - 7 totes

Just wanted to clarify the average and not every tote. Still, point taken. Probably one of the more frustrating games I've watched... same thing happened in scar game. You're right, enough to deduct something ain't right.

I'll add something else too. It seemed like cade was frustrated on more than a few plays with the sidelines not getting the plays called fast enough and it blew our rhythm and tempo.

Ship had 5 touches in the first half. That's ridiculous. This was the scar game all over again but with a better QB

I genuinely don’t know what our gameplan was on offense. O-Line, play calling, struggled all night to adjust to their speed up front, which clearly we didn’t prepare well enough for. Our coaches need to do a better job helping our offense establish and dictate the tempo of the game. Clemson used to do this well. Not so much anymore.

Cade can flat out sling it

Glad they cut him loose and let him throw as much as he did. Light years ahead of DJ.
