Tua and Bama on their 3rd play. We were too aggressive and our defense didn't play the spots they showed presnap.

Did I forget any other crybaby excuses? Oh yeah, our copycat defense.

When I heard the copycat D excuse I was just in aw of how dumb that comment was. I believe that’s called film study. You study that enough, you’ll Lear’s your opponent’s tendencies.

Film study for sure. AJ recognized the route right away. As soon as he sees the receiver make his break, he jumps it.

I almost took Saban's commentary as a compliment-- he essentially is saying that we saw some things on film that worked against them and they didn't adequately prepare to fix those holes. I don't think it was an excuse, just a fact.
