OUCH! Clemson pitching allows 32 runs last 3 games

I didn’t realize how bad the pitching has been until I went back & checked. This team can’t keep winning at the pace it had with this kind of performance on the mound. I don’t understand how it had gotten so bad.

Calm down. 3 bad games for sure but the pitching overall is not bad. Starters have for the most part been very good. Knaak had a no hitter going through 7 at ND.

We scored 8 tonight, and it wasn't enough. Gave up 25 in a series to FSU that we swept, and gave up 12 in a game we won against the Irish. Also gave up 18 in an 18-1 loss to someone earlier. Bats aren't always going to be enough. Need consistent arms we can trot out there.

A lot of those runs are from errors.

Pitching hasn’t been shutout baseball, but it’s not as bad as the runs given up. Wright’s error today allowed 4 runs to score. 2 on the throwing error (which would have been the third out), and two more following that. We could be better for sure, but errors are killing us.

Pacontaco, our pitching staff is decimated. We're lucky to have the record we have. Our best pitcher Samol was out the season b4 it started. Talent got hurt and it's hoping to get him back for acc championship. Now 2 , 3 weeks running we've lost Tristan Smith. Those are our 3 best arms on the staff.
Now we have to move boys around the dirt because of injuries.
We need to get healthy quick. But that's what is going on... and cams in a mini slump. Well, for cam anyway.

Everything you say is true and I will add the following: the improvement in the pitching year over year is exponentially better, and anyone who doesn't see that is not paying attention or just doesn't care.

I do not believe the game tonight was on the pitchers. They have had better days but the errors on defense and base running was more then half the runs allowed.
