Thoughts.. this has a chance to be a great year. Reminds me of 2017 but I feel QB play will be better, leading to better potential than Bryant's 2017 squad.
Defense may finish #1 in multiple categories. Healthy BB and MM with a Tyler Davis looking to solidify himself is insane. Simpson may be the best LB in the country when all is said and done. Secondary wise, Fred Davis will make the jump to make this group elite as well.
QB is what it is. Partially why I quoted 2017 as my comparison. IF DJ isn't what I think he is, I believe Cade is 8/10 of Trevor his freshman year and could still be a playoff team with this defense. Ngata having a first team ACC year is very possible although most are sour on him. He will be special
RB will be the factor here. There will be games where we are forced to run the ball and this is a group I can get behind. Shipley is just getting started folks, he will have a McCaffrey campaign at Clemson in his 3 years here and I see no better than this year to start.
Pace and Mafah as 2/3 is a joke. They would start for half of SEC teams
I'm pumped. Been here since 09 just never participated. Go tigers!!!
