to Hoki Hoki Hi, 78-68, in broke-down, Cassell Coliseum.
Averaging ~60 points in those 6 coming into last night's drubbing, a little Bradball was all The Pergolas needed to prime their pump. And yes, I know, Brad's a good guy, so this wasn't unexpected.
The final score can and will fool some, so don't get caught watching the paint dry. After falling behind 0-5, 4 minutes into the game, Wahoowa went on a 17-2 tear, earning a dominating V in Bradball's opening 10 minutes.
It was then that things got chippy as though there is bad blood between Brad and Coach Bennett? UVA showed no remorse in what was to follow, opening an industrial sized can of whoop-ass on our Tigers as UVA's run would reach 41-22.
UVA is vulnerable, far, far from the team that hung 86 on a top 10, Baylor Bear squad. Even lowly Boston College got a piece, saddling Wahoowa with a bad, 15 point loss, holding UVA to 48 in doing so.
Would be nice & maybe necessary to earn some redemption in the ACCT. It might boil down to Brad being better than the one & dones he's managed in his 12+ years of the ACCT.
One of the biggest problems with Bowden (err Brownell-ball)

is how inconsistent his teams play from one game to the next and, in some cases, one half to the next.
These ongoing long scoring droughts, a hallmark of the Brownell era at Clemson, are maddening and he has not demonstrated an ability to coach the team out of them.

I get so upset that he won't call timeout when you can see from every corner in the gym that the other team is on fire .. 6 pt run, 8 pt, 10pt . Last night up 5-0, then tied , next ya know it's 17-7 ...and Brad calls a timeout . For Pete's sake 17 points jeezzz. BRAD ISNT THE GUY ! IM SORRY HE HAS TO GO .
