Yeah, but in fairness that one official did break up a pass and tackle Shaw from his linebacker position...lol. Just trying to laugh to keep from crying here.

Talking about that official last night, I had a friend who wanted to be a football official. He wanted to work from the umpire position behind the defensive line because that's where all the action is. So, he went to the training that officials have to go through, studied and knew the rule book by heart and became certified as an official. I kept telling him to watch himself and be on the go because you can get run over back there. The first game he officiated was a JV game for one of the big schools in his area. Shortly into the game, he couldn't get out of the way of a play, got steamrolled and broke his leg in three places. He never officiated another game after that.
