I have young daughters. What prompted the change in the law? Usually data does. Data supporting incidents where we need to do something to effect change.
Small example. Data on people getting killed in auto accidents prompted seat belt law. No data supported this law. No cases to support this law. More likely someone assaulting your daughter is not in the transgender community. Transgender have been using bathroom of choice all these years with no issue. Why the law? Law was just an attack on them to create a fear that has no justification. A popular tactic throughout history to create division. Be smarter than those trying to divide them from those of us that believe differently than that community. I know people fear what they don't understand but no evidence at all of them being a threat in bathrooms. Zero. Us heterosexual males however.

Its the pervs that see this as an open invitation to prey on women under the guise of trans. No one up to this point has really been able to claim they identify as the other sex and therefore should be allowed to use their bathroom.... so how could you collect data on it?

Disguises are not a phenomenon that is new. TRANSGENDER using bathrooms is not new and instances of transgender attacks would be recorded. Are you serious? If it ever happens or anything similar it is tracked just as that. Not to mention public record of the case. All cases and the data would be helpful to police more than anyone. Not sure how I can convince you that what you said was ridiculous. If not for that law this wouldn't be a discussion because it's never been an issue.

For the record- this has already happened in other states that did pass the law but the media wont touch it- surprise, surprise.

Yeah I'm sure. Show us where it's happened in other states. People like you trying to justify this nonsense would've already pulled it out. If you want to bring in real stats you should fear people in your own family more. Plenty of data to suggest that your kids are safer in a bathroom with a transgender person than they are around your good ole uncle Joe. I'm not afraid of the boogeyman. I'm smarter than that. These people have been using these bathrooms for years. Now you're afraid? Don't send your kids to bathrooms alone. People haven't stopped doing that because truth is they're not afraid. Just getting on message boards pretending to be.

Your strong suit isn't reading comprehension. No one is saying trannys (excuse my shorthand) are criminals and should be feared... The law opens the door (no pun intended) for actual pervs, rapists, and other creeps to go into whatever bathroom they want legally under the protection of the PC police. The point is- this law is unnecessary. It's not like trannys couldn't go to the bathroom before Obama got involved.

There are tons of examples, here's the only one anyone ever shares, which took place in a UNISEX changing room, meaning literally any man or woman (or person identifying as such) could've done the same thing and they wouldn't have been breaking any bathroom law. They would, however, be breaking a bunch of other laws already on the books the sufficiently address the issue by banning voyeurism, child pornography, etc.

This is photo of Kingston Farady. He was born a woman. He is required by NC law to use the same bathroom as your young daughter. To help you grasp the moment, think "cut your nose off to spite your face". Because that is precisely what supporters of that law have done.
Enjoy explaining to your daughter why this "man" is sitting in the stall next to her. You wanted it, you got it.
